The Assignment
I was tasked with creating an escape room within three weeks, featuring a minimum of one playable scene and three interactable objects, each accompanied by sounds. All the crucial objects had to be modeled by myself in Blender, and for all the non-crucial objects, I had the choice to make them myself or use online models. For this assignment, I used the Unity game engine and Blender to create the game.

Process
Because this is the very first game I have ever made, I spent the first week watching tutorials about Blender and Unity. The second and third weeks were spent building the game itself. I had the choice to download 3D models from the internet, but I decided not to do this because I wanted to challenge myself and learn as much as possible about Blender. In the final game, all the models and programming were made by me. The only thing I downloaded from the internet is the sounds in-game.
Result
I was incredibly pleased with the result. I ended up making all the models myself. There were a total of fourteen interactable objects, varying from doors to levers, and three playable scenes. While working on this assignment, I learned to program with C# and to model/animate in Blender. Additionally, I learned how to use Reaper to modify audio files.
